Posing for Pawpaw was on the agenda yesterday. He bought his first Digital Camera. The camera has a feature that when your subject smiles it shoots. He spent the day reading instructions and shooting pics of Kylie, Liz, and me.

My Little Sister, Kelli

kelli was the kind of sister everyone would dream of having in their life. She was so funny. She kept all my brothers and sisters on their toes, she always had a comeback.

The last time we were together was so much fun, even though it was a difficult time with our Dad. We laughed so hard tears were streaming down our faces. We were at the hospital sitting with our Dad as he slept and trying to be quiet so we would not wake him. We covered our mouths and had to run down the hall to pee - we were not sure we would make it in time. It was a great afternoon. We both commented that we hoped Dad would not remember any of our secrets that day.

I am so thankful that Kelli knew how much we all loved her. I admire the amount of living she did in her 44 years. Her spirit will continue to inspire me to live to the fullest with lots of laughter and love.

Pawpaw and Kylie spent time singing today. She has made up a song about my mom, Grandma J and sings it in this clip.

The Princess Band

The last couple of days have been a whirlwind of activity. Hayli has been off school for two days, which means lots of sister bonding. They decided to have a Princess Band and we were entertained most of the day today.

Feeding the Birds

Kylie spent the night with us last night and woke up at 7 am with a request for marshmallows. We informed her there would be no marshmellows until she sat on her potty without her diaper. Someday we believe this will work.

This morning Pawpaw and his little helper, Kylie went out to feed the birds after breakfast.

After she helped pawpaw she came in and wanted marshmellows, I told her to go potty - she went in brought her potty out sat on it in the middle of the livingroom watching the video I took of her and Joe feeding the birds. Although nothing was produced - she sat there for 5 minutes... and she received a mini marshmallow.

HURRAY for a good start Kylie.... or do we have "SUCKER" stamped on our foreheads.
