Hey Good-Lookin, Whatcha got cookin?

Last Saturday the girls and I decided to make some cookies. Kylie did the mixing and Hayli did the stovetop cooking. Hayli had the brilliant idea to roll each cookie in powdered sugar. Kylie helped and said they look like snowballs. Below is the recipe. We cut the recipe in half when we made it.

No Bake Cookies From: Clamp Family 2 cup sugar 1/2 cup butter (1 stick) 1/2 cup Half & Half 3 Tablespoons Cocoa 1/2 cup peanut butter 3/4 cup semi sweet Chocolate Chips 1 teaspoon Vanilla 3 cups quick Oatmeal In a bowl combine peanut butter, chocolate chips, Vanilla and oatmeal. Set aside. In medium pan combine sugar, butter, half & half, and cocoa. Bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute stirring constantly. Combine both mixtures, stirring well. Drop by rounded spoonful onto wax paper. Allow to cool. Store in airtight container.

Aiden's Song

Aiden Folds is coming for a play date with Kylie on Thursday. She is so excited to see him. I'm sure we will get some good video.

Goose... Goose... Run!

Joe is taking his camera on fishing adventures. On his walk to his fishing spot, he came across this scene and stop to take some pictures. He had a great time fishing and was headed back to the car. The geese decided to ambush him at this point. One of them flew right towards his face. It suprised him so much his $25 sunglasses flew into the stream and disappeared. He made it safely to the car. I imagine those geese are soaking in our sunny weather and their eyes are well protected by the new specs. I think Joe was lured over to take the pic, so they could take a good look at his sunglasses.

Buster Bear Visits Hayli

Buster the Bear from Emerson School came home with Hayli for the weekend. Hayli will have her parents write in Buster's notebook telling about his adventures this weekend. Kylie was a little onery about Hayli having a bear for the weekend, so I gave her my bear for the weekend. Whatever big Sis does she wants to do also.

Awesome Sunset

Joe went fishing last Thursday evening and took these photos. There were fires from farmers burning their fields and what a beautiful sunset.

Lizzy's Playdate

Lizzy had a quick playdate today with Aiden Folds. This kid has the most wonderful laugh. I just hope Liz doesn't spill the beans and tell Kylie that Aiden came to play Aiden and Kylie are best buddies. You can also see Grandma Joan on the couch showing Aiden how to torment the cat with a Little People Bus.

Sing A Song

Sing-A-Song over and over again. "Best of Both Worlds" is a Hanna Montana song and she sings it many, many times per day. I have heard it so many times - I could sing it in my sleep. We have discussed the upcoming Easter Celebration with Kylie today. She is insisting on a Jesus cake, like we had at His Birthday Party in December. We ordered it today - See pic. She wanted to get two - one for her and one for Hayli.
